Welcome to Folkevirke
Folkevirke has since its founding in 1944 been an open door, where everyone regardless of age, gender and political and religious beliefs come together.
Folkevirke have local communities across the country. The work of the local community is localy rooted and activities are planned locally.
The larger meetings, which are centrally planned , are often planned in cooperation with local communities.
Folkevirke implements study circles several places in the country.
Once a year Folkevirke has a "moving study circle" where the participants under a special theme travel around. It may be a one-week study tour to Spain, Schleswig or to an exciting area in Denmark, for example Himmerland or Bornholm.
In the autumn - in week 42 - Folkevirke arrange camps for grandparents and their grandchildren. In the camps are children and grandparents participating on equal terms.
